Description:

OIM Controlling Emergencies assessment process is conducted to the OPITO Standards for OIM’s Controlling Emergencies.  The assessments are based on three scenarios  i.e. non escalating, escalating and abandonment.

For those OIM’s that have received prior training or those that are revalidating their OIM Certificate, the course structure is based on an introduction to the assessment performance criteria (OPITO Standards), one or two warm-up scenarios in order to give some final coaching and three assessment scenarios.

1 Delegate - 2 Days

2 Delegates - 3 Days

3 Delegates - 4 Days

Element 1 of the OPITO Standards must be completed by his/her line manager and returned to HOTA prior to the start of the course.
