Description:

Preparation, installation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical equipment in hazardous areas, Approved by CompEx Certification Limited.

This course determines the core competency of mechanical practitioners. The course consists of the established CompEx Foundation module (Ex F) to understand Electrical Hazards, a Mechanical Hazardous Awareness Course with a written examination and overall core competency is validated with a practical assessment on Ex Equipment.

Learner pre-requisites:

Minimum entry level requirements are:

• National Diploma , NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a technical subject

e.g. mechanical, operations, technical services, multiskilled engineering, maintenance in mechanical engineering or multiskilled engineering
