Mechanical Joint Integrity Course Launch

HOTA is pleased to announce we are offering the 1 Day Mechanical Joint Integrity Training Course at the Malmo Road site.

The course covers both theory & practical elements, providing a basic understanding of gaskets & flanges used in the oil and gas industry.

The course includes:
Theory element:
British and USA (API) standards for flanges and joints.
Pressure boundaries within pipe work looking and pipe work drawings
Bolting requirements and types used in high pressure containment
Various types of gaskets from compressed fibre to spiral wound and steel ring joint.
Screwed fittings

Practical element:
Delegates will assemble and check various joints on a practical rig
