HOTA receives accreditation from RUK/GWO
HOTA is pleased to announce it has gained full accreditation from RUK/GWO (Renewables UK/ Global Wind Offshore) to offer the basic renewables training courses.
In June 2015, HOTA will be running a pilot course, which will consist of the five basic units: First Aid, Fire Safety, Manual Handling, Marine Safety Training and Working at Heights.
To offer collaboration within the Humber, HOTA have joined forces with HFR Solutions whom will be providing the ‘Working at Heights’ course.
HOTA have recently expanded their facilities at both the Malmo Road and Albert Dock site to offer the RUK/GWO Training courses.
HOTA’s timetable expansion is the direct result of changes within the region, which is projected to attract substantial additional delegates to the Hull based Training Organisation.
Karen Shepherd, General Manager quoted ‘With over 25 year’s experience in training for the Oil & Gas and Maritime Sectors it is a natural progression for HOTA to enter into the Renewable Industry’.
