Description:
This course is GWO Approved and is conducted in accordance with their training standards.
The modules shall enable participants to refresh their knowledge previously gained for entry-type injured person rescue operations, in a WTG, using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.
Pre-Requisites:
Participants must hold a valid (in date) GWO Advanced Rescue, GWO Working at Height, GWO First Aid and GWO Manual Handling

Course Venue:
This course will be held at our Malmo Road facility in Hull (HU7 0YF).
Registration / Times:
Registration will open at 0800 hrs and will close at 0820 hrs. The course will finish at approximately 1700 hrs daily.
Photo ID:
You must bring government issued photographic identification on your first day (i.e. passport, driving licence, Discharge Book, Permanent Resident Card, U.S. military ID etc).
Fitness:
The course is physically demanding and includes a large amount of practical training and delegates are required to participate in all elements. Participants will be asked to make and sign a declaration of good health and fitness at the time of registration.
PPE requirements:
It is the participants responsibility to ensure that they are wearing suitable clothing for the training course they are attending; this includes suitable safety boots/footwear (with to protection) for climbing ladders and working at height.
Please consider this carefully as HOTA cannot provide suitbale attire for everyone.
There are no height restrictions whatsoever, however the weight restrictions are 120kg.
HOTA will provide all other PPE required during the course.
