Description:

The Course aims to give those on board the ship who do not have a designated security duty the essential education and training meeting the knowledge, understanding and proficiency requirements set out in the STCW table. This supports Chapter XI-2 of the annex to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS 1974) as amended and the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code.

Special Notes:

Learners or booking companies MUST ensure that one of the below forms of personal identification is available to be presented at course registration:

• Passport
• Discharge Book (or equivalent National document recording a person's sea service)
• National I.D. Card
