Description:

Site Incident Controllers course  - As no National Standards exist for this level of training/assessment, HOTA has put together a list of performance criteria to support an assessment process should the client wish. Both training and assessment can be conducted over a two day programme as the Site Incident Controller (shift team leader) is assessed over one scenario which covers the full range of performance criteria laid down in the supporting document.

The Site Incident Controller would bring along his full shift team in order to give them exposure to major emergency management in a controlled environment.

A HOTA certificate is awarded on completion of the training and/or assessment. Element 1 of the HOTA Standards must be completed by his/her line manager prior to the start of the course if assessment is to be conducted.
